Read received a quick pass in transition from wing Jake Voracek and had one man to beat: hulking defenseman Robyn Regehr. What will the Flyers do?
1) Not sure if Michael Leighton will get the start on Sunday, he probably will, but this one is a real head scratcher and coach Peter Laviolette has a lot of thinking to do.
There will be something more poignant than fighting for a playoff spot on the minds of the Buffalo Sabres and their fans Thursday. The HSBC Arena will host a memorial service for one of the greatest Sabres and NHL players of all time, Rick Martin, today.
