Los Angeles (March 6, 2012)— The 15 Finalists for the John R. Wooden Award were announced by The Los Angeles Athletic Club on ESPN.com at 11 a.m. EST this morning. The National Ballot, consisting of these top players, will be mailed to Wooden Award voters this week. Selected by the Wooden Award National Advisory Board, the ballot is made up of 15 student-athletes who are the frontrunners for college basketball’s most prestigious honor. Voting begins March 12th. The women’s midseason list will be released tomorrow.
Los Angeles (March 30, 2011) The John R. Wooden Award Mens and Womens All American teams were announced today by The Los Angeles Athletic Club. Selected to the womens team were five players: 2009 Wooden Award winner Maya Moore of Connecticut; Gonzaga point guard Courtney Vandersloot; Baylor sophomore Brittney Griner; and Stanfords duo of Jeanette Pohlen and Nnemkadi Ogwumike, who is a two-time selection.

Los Angeles (January 6, 2011)— The John R. Wooden Award Midseason Top 30 was announced today by The Los Angeles Athletic Club. Selected by the Wooden Award National Advisory Board, the list is made up of 30 student-athletes who, based on their performances in November and December, are the early frontrunners for college basketball’s most prestigious honor. The Women’s midseason list will be released early next week.
