PHILADELPHIA - It wasn’t exactly the bounce back performance Phillies ace Roy Halladay was looking for. In fact, he got bounced around, and then eventually bounced late in the game. In his eight innings pitched, he gave up 4 runs on 11 hits as Manager Charlie Manuel let Roy go for as long as he liked. All eventually leading to the AL Central leading Minnesota Twins 4-1 victory on Sunday.
“They’re going to put the ball in play and when you pitch contact, sometimes they find holes and fall in,” said Halladay. “The key is not to beat yourself with teams like that.”
