FOUR GAMES REMAIN AS NFL ENTERS FINAL QUARTER
It’s Week 14 of the NFL season and only four games remain to decide who advances to the playoffs. And who goes is anyone’s guess as 28 teams remain in contention for a postseason berth.
“It’s good to be 9-3 and our team is in a decent position here,” says New England Patriots head coach BILL BELICHICK. “Hopefully we can keep improving through the last quarter of the season.”
With four games to go, there are 22 teams either in or within two games of a playoff spot.
Cowboys Ring of Honor Inductees Announced
The Dallas Cowboys will be inducting three former players into their Ring Of Honor at halftime of the Seattle game on Sunday, November 6, 2011. The inductees are wide receiver Drew Pearson (1973-83), defensive end Charles Haley (1992-96) and guard Larry Allen (1994-05). At the conclusion of the on-field halftime ceremony, each player will be made available in the post game interview room on the field level.
Jets-Cowboys Tidbits
The Dallas Cowboys have played the N.Y. Jets only nine times since Dallas’ entrance into the league in 1960. It took just over 11 seasons for the two teams to finally meet. Under the current schedule, the teams face each other once every four seasons.
