The NBA draft is all the rage. Prospects are dissected, measured and weighed, interviewed and analyzed, compared to heroes of yesteryear. There is the pre-draft camp, the endless talk show hustle as well as fantasy drafts. Preceded by hype, hope and hoopla, the NBA Draft finally arrives with a cast of hundreds of personalities, nationally televised hour after hour. And then there is the endless post-draft commentary.
Heck of a job Brownie, or The Mistake by the Lake II, I don't know which is applicable here, maybe both. In a panic move to bring a title to Cleveland, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert looks like Phil Jackson did when he played for the Knicks. If you remembered Jackson he was all ass and elbows with the Knicks of the 70's who were a class team except for him. He got yelled at more on the court then any player I ever saw. He didn't fit in the flow and I remember numerous times Red Holtzman or Clyde Frazier or Bill Bradley pointing where Phil should be, in short he was a Geek. But that aside Mike Brown got shafted here.
