Philadelphia - - In was an afternoon delight for the Philadelphia Flyers and their fans, as they coasted to a 4-1 victory over the visiting New York Rangers at the Wells Fargo center for their fifth win in a row.

Philadelphia -- The game wasn't pretty at times and each team had shaking goaltending but the the Flyers got an important 4-3 win over the Red Wings to take over sole possession of 8th place in the Eastern Conference. They are two points ahead of the Rangers and they have a home-and-home against them next week.
