Philadelphia -- When the Rangers waived veteran goaltender, Martin Biron, they opened the door for Cam Talbot to earn that spot and in his first NHL game he didn’t disappoint.
The rookie netminder stopped 25 of 27 shots in his NHL debut against the Philadelphia Flyers. It was a 2-1 loss but he was able to pull some positives out of it.
“I was looking forward to my first start and I thought I played pretty well for the most part and I think it will give me confidence moving forward,” said Talbot.
And so did his coach.

I had a chance to ask Oscar Dansk, a potential first round goaltender and future star some pre-draft questions about himself and his career so far:
Cohen: Do you feel that your're the best goalie in the draft?
Dansk: I have not really watched the other goalies closely other than Vasilevski and Korpisalo who I've played against a couple of times this year. But I know that I have some qualities that can separate me from the others.
Cohen: Why have so many good goalies hailed from Brynas?
