Princeton Wins Opener Against Cornell-- Scouting Report Included

“Big Red” came in ranked 4th in the country and the Princeton Tigers started out strong with a 2-0 lead through two and then Cornell took the lead, lost the lead, and the Tigers won 5-3. There were a lot of NHL prospects in this game and I’ll highlight a few of them.

Frozen Four Tickets on Sale Saturday

2012 marks the first time the final will be held in Florida

INDIANAPOLIS - Tickets for the 2012 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four go on sale Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. ET.

Reserved all session tickets for both semifinals and the championship game are $195 and can be purchased by visiting NCAA.com/frozenfour. The event will take place on April 5 and 7 at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Fla.

The Men’s Frozen Four has sold out 11 of the previous 12 years, with the only non-sellout occurring in 2010, when a crowd of 37,592 set the world indoor hockey attendance record at Ford Field in Detroit.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boston College remains No. 1 in this week's USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll after defeating the University of Massachusetts last weekend. The Eagles, who boast a 19-6-0 record, collected 508 points and 32 first-place votes to claim the top spot for the second week in a row and the fifth time this season.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Yale University is the unanimous No. 1 in this week's USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll after earning victories over Clarkson University and St. Lawrence University last weekend. The Bulldogs, who boast a 17-2-0 record, collected 510 points and all 34 first-place votes to claim the top spot for the seventh week in a row.
