New York – The New York Rangers have been in need of some secondary scoring this season. Fans have been waiting for some players to step up in this department and one 23-year-old veteran has stepped up and that’s Artem Anisimov.
The Rangers pivot (6-4, 200) is in the midst of his third full season with the Blueshirts, not counting his one-game cup of coffee in 2009, and his numbers have been steadily increasing to the point where he’s on pace to get around 50-55 points this year.
Calling them twins or brothers would be pushing it but they could be easily be cousins – both Artem Anisimov and Enver Lisin are tall, dark haired, and fit. Work is not the only thing they have in common, they share room on the road, live in the same apartment building, play the same video games, and spend a lot of time together.
