GREATEST HITS VOL. 2, a brand-new collection of original recordings by the mega-platinum band Journey will be available as a single CD, digital download, and special gatefold double-vinyl edition (which includes a code for a free digital download of the vinyl remastered album), available starting November 1, 2011. This new package from Columbia/Legacy, a division of SONY MUSIC ENTER¬TAINMENT, spans singles and album tracks recorded between 1978 and 1996.

Bush and Chev∑lle recently played a show recently at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. This has been of the true legendary venues in the United States for over 40 years and there isn’t a bad seat or perch or standing room area in the house. The acoustics are great and the stage has the right stuff.

Camden – The Yes-Styx “Progressive U.S. Tour” kicked off tonight as part of the WMGK “Let Freedom Rock Fest” and it was a very entertaining twin bill for sure.

Styx – The band has a renewed energy and they seem to be reinvigorated because of their new members and Keyboardist and vocalist Lawrence Gowan is really coming into his own while long time members EY, Tommy Shaw, and a cameo by Chuck Panozzo (a founding member) was very nice to see.

Lulu is a musical collaboration between Lou Reed and Metallica.
