Santa Monica, California, May 4, 2010 – Sheryl Crow is about to unveil her soul stylings on the new studio set 100 Miles From Memphis due for release July 20th on A&M Records. Crow will hit the road with a string of June dates followed by a headlining slot on the first five Lillith Fair dates. Mets? You know the New Yorkers known many decades ago in newspaper lingo as Metropolitans which then became as most things in Da Apple shortened to Mets. Many Mets and me and my group from Vegas and California gathered at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York's East Village last Wednesday to see this match up. The Mets never had a chance as the co-ed team of Greta's Bakery won every minute of the hour they performed. It was a shutout and yet the locals went home feeling good.

Atlantic City - - Puddle of Mudd opened up for Shinedown and the sold out crowd was totally into them. POM featured some tight, friendly, solid drumming from Ryan Yerdon on the second song, “Spaceship”, a song off their successful album Songs in the Key of Love and Hate, they opened up with “Control” and then they played “Famous”.

Puddle of Mudd (POM), whose dependable songwriting and musicianship was once again in full swing, continues to show fan-savvy in just about everything thing they do.

This band's music is heard at so many sporting events now that it made complete sense that the NHL had the Dropkick Murphys at the recent Winter Classic at Fenway Park. Growing up a Sawwks fan Scruffy Wallace was doing most of the talking and the conversation centered around having tickets to great events.
