Brothers Behaving Badly - Thirty Years Later

(Frisco, TX) - Friday night was bittersweet for the Texas Tornado and their fans, as they saw their team defeated by the Wichita Falls Wildcats 2-1 in overtime. The devastation of the loss was mollified by the appearance of Slapshot legends The Hanson Brothers as they displayed their usual on-ice misbehavior and roughhousing in front of a packed house of hockey fans of all ages.
The classic hockey movie Slapshot is celebrating it's thirtieth anniversary this year, and the Hanson Brothers, (Dave Hanson, and brothers Steve and Jeff Carlson) can be seen on the cover of this month's Sports Illustrated, and are also making appearances throughout the U.S to promote...well...themselves.
The Hansons (pictured, r with Kelly, l and Zany, r) were at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX on Halloween night hosting a costume contest for Dallas Stars fans. The winner, who was impressively dressed up as The Borg from Star Trek, had his picture taken with the Hansons on the ice after the game; a night he soon won't forget.
