The Minority Quarterback Is Quite a Compilation
by Russ Cohen
Ira Berkow is a famous writer for the New York Times and the minute you crack open this book you will see how good he is if you have never read him before.
The Minority Quarterback is just one of the unique, gut wrenching, and triumphant stories that are in this book. This book is so diverse it’s hard to explain. The athletes (Chuck Norris, John Riggins, Ferguson Jenkins, Woody Allen?) are all so different and I warn you that some of these stories are very sad.
You will never see a book with such different sports stories and you probably will be hard pressed to find one as interesting as well. You will learn a lot from this book and that is what makes it so special. There are a lot of life lessons in here and kids should read about them if they intend on having a pro sports career.
