The Madden 13 demo is out today. The Xbox Marketplace has it first and later today the PS3 will post theirs. I will post a full preview once I get a chance to download and play it but for now here are some great samples:

Demo Review PS3
This demo is so much fun to play. The new close up shots of the ball in flight is breathtaking and the fact that when the game is done showing you the rendered shots and when you get into the game action there isn't much of a drop off as far as graphics are concerned. They are top-notch.

Plays are still easy to call. I love the defensive line shifts it gets Nance and Simms talking which is fun (the announcing has been improved over last year as well) and it's cool to see in HD.

Some tips:
Teams with a strong offensive line like the Giants have great success with a small/fast back running like David Wilson. Bradshaw got hurt and he had over 100 yards getting lost in the sea of humanity at times.

Quarterbacks like Alex Smith have trouble throwing over the middle and are even iffy on out patterns. I was able to kill him because of his slow release. Eli Manning threw a pretty deep ball that's for sure.

I like the fact that you can SIM plays in case your time is running thin and you want to finish a season game. Kicking has gotten easier too and I appreciate that since I would occasionally struggle in that area.

The full version should be even better and this was exceptional.
